History

Greg Dodd and the Hoodoo Men was created by legendary Australian blues guitarist Greg Dodd in 2012. With Greg Dodd on guitar, Dan Dinnen on lead vocals and harmonica, Clint Healy on bass and Rob O’Toole on drums, the band’s chemistry was undeniable, and they quickly produced two award-winning albums, rocked blues festivals around the country and was announced Best Band at the Australian Blues Music ‘Chain’ Awards in 2016.

When Dan and Rob left the band in 2017, Greg and Clint filled the roles of drummer and lead singer with one man, the immensely talented Tim Stout. The new look Greg Dodd and the Hoodoo Men, now a 3-piece, quickly found themselves back at major blues festivals and gigging about Melbourne.

But then . . . in 2018 Greg retired from music to travel the world with his beloved wife Jan.

Yes – Greg left his own band, but The Hoodoo Men won’t be stopped! Clint and Tim continue to fly the Hoodoo flag with Gavin Leadbetter filling out the Hoodoo sound on guitar.
